------------------------------------------- ******************************************* Review of The Sims 2 By RabidCentipede.com ******************************************* ------------------------------------------- The Sims 2, the sequel to the widely-popular EA game The Sims, brings you even more of everything you wanted. More ways to customize your Sim's face, more furniture, more possible actions, more fancy graphics, and more cheats!!!!! ------------------------------------------- Graphics: Though they are a bit outdated now, they are still pretty good, considering all of the objects being calculated at once, especially at night, with lights, with shadows, etc ------------------------------------------- Loading Time: This is it's weakness. It takes FOREVER to load ANYTHING on any slightly slow computer. Since you have to load something new everytime you go to the neighborhood, select a family, make a family, etc, this can get VERY annoying. Especially because the loading music is repetitive, and will drive you crazy, and you will begin to hear it in your sleep. ------------------------------------------- Replayability: Very replayable, since you basically customize and control everything. Can provide about a bazillionn hours of gameplay before things get to be the same. ------------------------------------------- What I like To Do: * Use cheats to get enourmous amouonts of money and then build giant mansions for my sims to live in. * Make sims that are completely ugly, or have really really exagerated personalities * Throw huge parties with flatscreen TVs and hot tubs. ------------------------------------------- Final Thoughts: * This game is great... but be prepared to play it for at least two hours. Since loading takes a while, and there is so much stuff to do, this isn't a game that you can just sit down and play for a quick 20 minutes. * If you buy any of the expansion packs for it, you will get even more objects and stuff!!!! * [Ctrl+Shift+C] motherlode [enter]
